Bandai Namco and the American Red Cross are making an interesting partnership in which gamers can get a copy of the upcoming Code Vein at San Diego, for the small price of your blood. GameStop Retailer will Close Down 200 Stores Soon
It seems that GameStop will soon go the way of Blockbuster: no one needs physical copies of their entertainment anymore. Digital purchases and downloads are simply more convenient and more efficient. GameStop has a slight advantage in the fact that they sell things you do need physical copies of, like controllers and consoles themselves. But there’s no denying that video games were the main source of income for GameStop, and they just aren’t making that money like they used to.

Two More Assassin’s Creed Games may be Coming to the Switch
While it still feels a little odd for a Nintendo gaming platform to have some not very kid-friendly titles made available for it, it’s pretty clear at this point that we can expect it to become the norm. After all, now that Bulletstorm of all games is getting a Switch release, is there anything too uncouth for the Nintendo Switch? Either way, there was a brief listing on The Console Club recently, which offered a preorder for an Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag, and Assassin’s Creed: Rogue Bundle. The bundle was listed for the rough equivalent of about $42.00, but it has been removed since then.

This month, both Origin and EA Access are getting some major additions, those being FIFA 20 and Anthem. Origin Access is actually getting a few more games than its console equivalent, such as the platformer Yooka-Laylee, but the two big titles will be available on all platforms.

The update also includes the ability to stop the Switch from recognizing inputs from the console buttons, with the exception of the Home and Capture buttons. With the last bit of DLC coming soon the extremely popular retro game Celeste, the game’s developer, Matt Thorson, has confirmed that no plans currently exist regarding a sequel.
