There’s a lot of good games in general coming out this week, and for most platforms, but Switch owners are undoubtedly getting it the best this time around. Here are some of those games, along with a few others that are releasing on different platforms.

This Xbox live Arcade classic is already on Xbox One, but this week Nintendo Switch owners will be able to enjoy it as well. This will include the original game, all of the DLC available for it, and naturally, all at 60 FPS. The four-player co-op beat ‘em up is also getting a new mini-game for the Switch variant called Back Off Barbarian, so there’s even a bit of new content to go around. It’ll still have its classic versus arena mode as well.

In short, Puzzle Quest is a game that has you battle your fantasy enemies through a match-three puzzle game. You get to choose a class, and your attacks are determined by the color combinations of the gems you match during the puzzle segment. The Legend Returns not only includes the original game, but also all of the previous expansions to it, as well as a new expansion called Attack of the Golem Lord. For puzzle and fantasy lovers, this game will soon be available on the Switch.

Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch Remastered — September 20

Even when this game released back in 2010, it’s distinctly Studio Ghibli inspired aesthetic looked amazing. Even the cinematic cut scenes were animated, setting it apart from other games that took the easy way out. But there’s no denying that this 60 FPS capable remaster looks even more incredible. That said, the remaster doesn’t actually add anything new to the game, it just makes it look a lot nicer. Along that vein, the original variant of the game is also going to be available for the Switch on September 20th, so you can feed your nostalgia that way as well.

The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening — September 20

This soon to be released game is a faithful remake of the Game Boy title of the same name. That said, it’ll have the same story and the same dungeons from good old Koholint Island, but it’ll have some new features too. Of course that includes completely remastered graphics and a soundtrack that received the same treatment, but it’ll also come with a dungeon editor. Tapping an Amiibo will unlock extra mini-games and chambers for you to use in the dungeon editor, so even though this game is a remake, it still brings something new to enjoy.
