In usual fashion, Sony has finally decided to inform the masses as to what games they will be receiving for the month of November, provided they are subscribers to PlayStation Plus. We’re confident in saying that it is quite possibly one of the best months that the program has ever had. First up are two highly praised major titles, those being Hollow Knight: Voidheart edition and Middle-earth: Shadow of War. Each of these great games will be free starting on November 3. Both of them are excellent games, but there’s actually better news, as the most exciting freebie included in November is actually the bonus title, Bugsnax. A Smash Bros. Ultimate Freebie Is Available For Switch Online Members

Right about now, Nintendo is offering subscribers to their Switch Online service another freebie for the game Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. For a limited window of time, NSO subscribers can claim the Vault Shopper Set 2 bundle, which includes 3,000 Gold and five Classic Tickets. The Classic Tickets can be wagered before a run in Classic Mode, and if you win, you’ll get extra rewards. It’s worth noting that we’re not exactly sure how limited the window to get this freebie is, but you’ll probably have at least a week to do it.

Apex Legends For The Nintendo Switch Has Been Delayed Until 2021

Electronic Arts has recently provided the gaming community with updates regarding Apex Legends for both the Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam, confirming for us when the game will launch on both platforms. Unfortunately, it’s not all good news for people awaiting the release. But, it’s not all bad either.
As of right now, Apex Legends will still become available for PC via Steam on November 4th. Origin players, in particular, will be able to switch back and forth between Origin and Steam, with their progression being kept between the two platforms.

Ubisoft Connect Is Aiming To Make Cross-Progression A New Standard

Recently, Ubisoft has made quite a significant change to its primary player services, Ubisoft Club and Uplay. From here on out, both services will function under Ubisoft Connect, a platform from the popular game publisher that intends to aid players in staying connected with not only each other, but themselves, via things like cross-progression and cross-platform support.

It may come as a surprise to some, but cross-play isn’t nearly as universal of a feature as one would expect in today’s day and age. While many games do have the ability for people to play with or against each other across multiple platforms, far more games have no such feature at all, which can be a real hassle for people that want to play the same game with each other but don’t have the same platform to do it all with.

Members Of A Noteworthy Gaming Piracy Group Have Been Arrested

Quite recently, members of the prominent multinational video game piracy group Team Xecutor have been arrested, and they are facing multiple serious felony charges. This was announced by US Attorney’s Office of the Western District of Washington on October 3rd. The arrested individuals were Max Louarn, Yuanning Chen, and Gary Bowser, all of whom were all charged with 11 felony counts, including conspiracy to commit money laundering, wire fraud, and trafficking in circumvention devices.

Introducing Luna, The Newest Player To The Cloud Gaming Service Industry

Apparently, Amazon thinks it can carve its own niche out of the gaming industry. Whether or not that is true, we have no idea. But we’re certainly interested by the attempt, and we’re going to tell you all about it.

Considering the success of the Switch, it should come as no surprise to anyone that Nintendo has no intention of leaving the hardware scene at any point in the near future. In a corporate management briefing, Nintendo confirmed that they are working on new hardware: but as for when it will release, apparently they are only willing to say this it will be sometime before 2099.

The real question is where you can begin pre-ordering the Microsoft Xbox Series X: a number of different retailers are already showing stock, as well as the availability to pre-order. This includes Best Buy, which is no real surprise to anyone, but you can also find them at Sam’s Club.
