While the phone was supposed to drop more than four months ago, Samsung postponed the world’s first foldable phone release date after several flaws from the initial media release were discovered. Twitter blew up with several reviewers who discovered similar flaws or removed what seemed like a disposable screen protector which was actually an integral part of the phone’s structure. Samsung refunded pre-orders of the device and pushed back the date indefinitely.

Amazon Fresh is a grocery delivery and pickup service only in select cities worldwide. Currently, Prime Members can get a subscription to AmazonFresh for an additional $14.99 per month. Amazon started this service in 2017 in the United Kingdom and has expanded the service to more than 300 postcodes across the U.K. The service even offers delivery in less than one-hour from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. all week.

Walmart saw the potential in the brand’s popularity and started selling Tasty merchandise in March 2018. The inexpensive line offers 90 products. The fast food retail chain, Pizza Hut, decided to reduce and change its current store models from dine in to “modern express stores” over the next two years, according to National Restaurant News. As research analyst Coresight Research predicted Aug. 2 that more than 12,000 stores would close before 2019 ends, another retailer announced hundreds of store closures nationwide. As many retailers have shuttered their stores, filed for bankruptcy or reduced its retail footprint, analysts at Coresight Research predict that the store closure number could reach more than 12,000 before 2019 is over. T-Mobile decided to drop the world’s first foldable phone after its disastrous debut. Verizon announced Aug. 2 that it would launch a new “mix-and-match” Unlimited plans with a discounted rate of about $5. These “unlimited” plans come with certain features for each phone line. As Verizon moves into 5G services the new plans offer features for both 4G and 5G capable phones. Apple’s third quarter results suggest the company saw revenue of $53.8 billion — about a 1 percent increase over last year’s third quarter results. Apple’s move into the fourth quarter shows goals of revenue increase from $61-$64 billion in revenue and a gross margin of 37.5-38.5 percent.
