There is no greater art than language and communication. The word, both verbal and written, can exert influence on scales both minor and massive, and alter the beliefs, interests, and ideals of others. I find that to be a beautiful thing, and that's why crafting words into outstanding papers, stories, and pieces is my passion.

About a week ago, GameStop head honchos apparently thought it was a good idea to keep their physical stores open during the Coronavirus outbreak, even in states that required all non-essential retail stores to be closed. According to a memo the guys in charge left for their employees in case they were questioned by government officials, GameStop considers itself essential retail.

Google Stadia will be Adding Five more Games Soon

Google Stadia will be Adding Five more Games Soon

Google Stadia originally launched with a somewhat scant array of games, especially considering how hyped up the service was. But the letdown was fixed pretty quickly, and Google has announced that five more games will be coming to the service in the coming months, 3 of which will be timed exclusives. Games coming this spring and summer include Spitlings, Stacks on Stacks (On Stacks), and Lost Words: Beyond the Page. However, no release dates for these particular games have been announced yet. That said, we do know that these games will be released on Stadia before they become available on any other platform, so Stadia will be the first place to gain access to them.

Pokemon

Pokemon Home is now Available for iOS, Android and Switch

Pokemon Home, previously announced for a February 2020 release, has been launched on time. This cloud based subscription service mainly allows you to transfer Pokemon from older games into the newest titles, Sword and Shield. While it had been announced that it would be released in February of this year, no specific release date had been confirmed, so it’s a bit of a surprise to get our hands on it so suddenly.

Similar to the Pokemon Bank service, Home allows you to store Pokemon that you’ve caught from various games, much like the storage system that is actually in the games. Two versions of Home exist, with the mobile version for iOS and Android having some nifty features like trading available, but they are a companion app to the main instance of Home for the Switch itself.

The Outer Worlds will be Available on Nintendo Switch in March

Despite the initial idea that the Outer Worlds would potentially be an Xbox exclusive title, we’ve known for some time that it was coming to the Nintendo Switch (and it released for a bunch of other platforms besides). However, we didn’t know exactly when this was going to happen; until now. Fans of outer space capitalism can rejoice, because the Outer Worlds will be available on March 6th, which isn’t too terribly far off.

Dying Light 2 has been Delayed Indefinitely

Dying Light 2 has been Delayed Indefinitely

While Dying Light 2 was initially supposed to be released in Spring of 2020, developer Techland has unfortunately confirmed that the game is being indefinitely delayed until an unknown time. This was revealed in a statement they made on Twitter just recently. “We were initially aiming for a Spring 2020 release with Dying Light 2, but unfortunately we need more development time to fulfill our vision,” Techland wrote. “We will have more details to share in the coming months, and will get back as soon as we have more information. We apologize for this unwelcome news. Our priority is to deliver an experience that lives up to our own high standards and to the expectations of you, the fans.”

Sonic the Hedgehog will have a Big Year in 2020

Sonic the Hedgehog will have a Big Year in 2020

While Sonic and Sega as a whole have always trailed a bit behind their ever-popular Nintendo rivals, that doesn’t mean they don’t plan to take advantage of the coming year. Sega has announced the Sonic 2020 Project, which will have the company announcing Sonic related news on the 20th of every month this year. Of course, the announcement for January was actually the announcement that this project was going to happen, so it’s a bit of a cheap move on that front.

We Finally have Release Dates for 'The Flash' Movie and 'Matrix 4'

We Finally have Release Dates for ‘The Flash’ Movie and ‘Matrix 4’

It’s been a mystery until now, but Warner Bros. has finally revealed the release dates for two major movies; The Matrix 4 and The Flash. It seems that one day these properties will come back to the big screen of cinema, but don’t get too excited; it won’t be soon by any stretch. It seems we won’t be seeing The Flash until July 1st of 2022, and for the currently untitled fourth Matrix movie, we won’t be seeing that until May 21st of 2021, which is, oddly enough, the same day John Wick 4 hits the theaters. Does Keanu Reeves ever rest? As for why these movies are so far off, it’s debatable. The Flash had serious trouble getting started from the very beginning, with two directors being lost in 2017 over creative differences. The movie was supposed to come out in 2021, but then it got delayed, with another director leaving earlier this year. Right now, the director of ‘It’, Andy Muschietti, is set to take command, though that isn’t set in stone just yet.

Kojima’s 'Death Stranding'

Kojima’s ‘Death Stranding’ Is Available at $20 Off For A Limited Time

Considering that Death Stranding came out pretty recently, no one could blame you for not expecting a hefty discount on the title until 2020 at the earliest. And yet, the AAA Sony exclusive title is available at $20 off its usual price right now, assuming you take advantage of a particular deal. Don’t worry; we plan to tell you all about it. Right now, Walmart is selling copies of Death Stranding for $39.99, which is the lowest price the game has been since its launch. Ironically, Walmart was already selling the game for $49 prior to this, which is still a pretty sweet deal. Just for reference, this current price is better than even the one the PlayStation Store offered on Black Friday. That said, this is a better time than any to nab one of PS4’s most critically acclaimed games of the year.
