French fries are an American staple. They’re a great choice for a side at a restaurant as well as a favorite home-cooked food for kids and adults alike. Did you know that you can air fry french fries? Here’s how to make air fryer french fries:
- Turn on your air fryer and start pre-heating to 380 degrees.
- Slice your potatoes into sticks roughly 1/4″ in size.
- Rinse potato sticks with water and then pat them dry with a towel or paper towel.
- Add about 1 teaspoon of olive oil (per potato) to a bowl along with a sprinkle of salt & pepper.
- Add your potato sticks to the bowl and coat the potato sticks.
- Add a single layer of potato sticks to your air fryer and cook for roughly 13-17 minutes depending on your air fryer and elevation. Be sure to turn them halfway through. Remove french fries when golden brown and crispy.
