After buyouts, multiple streaming deals, studio switches, and many years in between, the fan favorite animated series Star Wars: the Clone Wars is finally set to premier its monumental final season exclusively on Disney Plus.
For many longtime fans who haven’t freshened up on the Clone Wars in a while and for the many thousands of new fans who were brought in by the beloved franchise’s other numerous properties who are excited to jump straight first into this season, Disney has officially revealed the episodes you need to go back and watch in order to get all caught up instead of cramming every single previous Clone Wars episode!
As reported by wegotthiscovered.com, “this list contains 2 episodes from season 1, 7 episodes from season 2, only 1 episode from season 3, 2 episodes from season 4, and a whopping 9 episodes from season 5, while season 6 is conspicuously absent, despite featuring some of the most important episodes in the show’s entire run.

The release of this final season to the critically acclaimed comes as a perfect time as Disney takes a break between the release of their unnamed new Star Wars saga, and the mysterious Project Luminous which is claimed to be the massive multimedia initiative which will prepare the next decade’s worth of Star Wars canon by creating several new comic books, novels, video games, and potentially a brand new animated series as well.
