Google Stadia’s Launch Lineup has Expanded to 22 games Instead of 12

When Google revealed the launch lineup for its soon to be released Stadia game streaming service, people were understandably concerned; it only had 12 games, some of which weren’t all that new or even that demanding in terms of processing power, which was kind of Stadia’s whole selling point. In fact, the initial response to the Stadia launch lineup was so lackluster that Google is making a last ditch addition to the whole thing; ten extra games will now be available at launch, barely a day before said launch actually occurs.

Thanks to information from Kotaku, it seems that a new Mass Effect game is in very early development at BioWare Edmonton, under the supervision of Mike Gamble. Gamble’s been working at BioWare since 2009, and had a hand in both Mass Effect 2 and 3 (also Andromeda, but we’re trying to get our hopes up here). He also worked on Anthem, but it seems he’ll be returning to where he started.

Unfortunately, there’s no denying that Ghost Recon: Breakpoint has had a pretty rough launch. With many high impact bugs and glitches, not to mention the micro transaction system and even the design of the overall map and gameplay, it has received a lot of criticism from both players and game critics.
