Los Angeles to Manila, Philippines From $354 RT Review

Depending on the destination you can regularly find relatively cheap flights to Asia, especially during the shoulder and off-seasons, compared to summer and winter when they are sometimes upwards of $1000. So when deals like this one come around, where you can book an international flight for the price of a domestic one, its worth a look and consideration in order to feed that travel bug.

There are countless airlines that fly to destinations all over Asia with flight prices to the Philippines, in particular, usually hovering around $700-$800 when departing from cities on the west coast, like Los Angeles or San Francisco. Some airlines, however, are better than others for obvious reasons such as quality of onboard service, seat space, meal offerings, other perks, and overall quality of the flight. With the combination of super-low fares to the Philippines, at under $400 round trip, and Air China airlines, which has a Tripadvisor airline rating of 3 out of 5 stars, it makes a good case for you to cash in some of those vacation days.

One of the benefits of this deal is that with Air China you will have a stopover in Beijing, China, and many of the return flights have an option to for a 10-hour-long layover, which means you can make 1 trip into 2.  Visiting China would usually require you to have a visa, which can be a real turn off because of the hoops you must jump through to secure one. However, with a new law that China has implemented, it allows you to visit any major city in China for up to 3 days without a visa. The catch is you have to stay/visit in the city that you flew into and are flying out of. In addition, you must show proof that you are just on a layover, which is simply showing officials that you have your onward ticket departing within 3 days.

This fare deal is showing sub-$400 tickets for various dates in November and early December. Prices change often so jump on this one while you can!
