It goes without saying that the value of money varies from country to country. This can be a problem when it comes to international subscription services that are trying to make universal prices for all of the countries they offer their services to. One such business is Twitch, the Amazon-owned streaming service. That’s why Twitch will soon be making a varied series of subscription pricing changes for countries outside of the United States.

Looking for some good news? I’ve got one for you, Verizon has officially announced they are planning on launching their very own streaming entertainment series! According to the Hollywood reporter, “Verizon has found a way to marry digital entertainment and philanthropy while honoring social distancing guidelines via Pay It Forward Live, a new weekly streaming series that will include music, games, comedy, and other content, all to support small businesses that have been affected during the coronavirus pandemic.”

Partnered with Tyler Perry Studios, BET announced its streaming service June 24 and that it would be available this fall. More than 1,000 hours of premium content are available on BET+. The new app, available for Apple and Android devices, allows viewers to watch content from their mobile devices on the go.

Netflix is adding another unique show to its repertoire; an animated TV series based on the critically acclaimed side-scrolling game Cuphead. Said game was based on the cartoon style of the thirties. Online provider Netflix has stated that the program will be called “The Cuphead Show” on Tuesday. The show, like the game, will feature titular character Cuphead and his brother Mugman. They’ve made a deal with the devil and have to do his bidding.
