Google Stadia originally launched with a somewhat scant array of games, especially considering how hyped up the service was. But the letdown was fixed pretty quickly, and Google has announced that five more games will be coming to the service in the coming months, 3 of which will be timed exclusives.
Games coming this spring and summer include Spitlings, Stacks on Stacks (On Stacks), and Lost Words: Beyond the Page. However, no release dates for these particular games have been announced yet. That said, we do know that these games will be released on Stadia before they become available on any other platform, so Stadia will be the first place to gain access to them.
Here are the five new games coming to Stadia that everyone should know about.

Spitlings
Spitlings, a game with a pretty unique twist. It’s an arcade style multiplayer game, in which you control a titular Spitling. It uses its teeth to both spit and jump, strange though it may be. The unique part is that the game restarts when one player fails.
Stacks on Stacks (On Stacks)
Stacks on Stacks (On Stacks) is a 3D tower building game, in which you must build a tower out of constantly falling blocks, all while defending it against a huge variety of enemies. When you complete the level, you get to knock the whole thing over in a moment of catharsis.
Lost Words: Beyond the Page
Lost Words is an atmospheric puzzle solving game that takes place in the pages of a girl’s diary. The game is quite imaginative and includes both puzzle solving and platforming throughout. On top of that, it was written by the writer for the more recent Tomb Raider games, Rhianna Pratchett. Hopefully that will result in a pretty solid narrative for players to enjoy.
However, these three games are not the only ones being added to Stadia soon. Also in the lineup for the next few months is a Panzer Dragoon Remake as well as the Serious Sam collection. Unfortunately, Google hasn’t announced when these particular games will become available on the service. All we can really do is hope that it is ‘soon,’ whenever that might be.

That said, Google did claim that Stadia would get over 120 new games added to it in 2020, including major titles like Doom Eternal and Cyberpunk 2077. Hopefully that means these five announced games are just the tip of the iceberg, and we’ll be able to get a lot more announcements soon.
