It’s a simple fact that Cyberpunk 2077 is one of the most hotly anticipated games of 2020. The game from CD Projekt Red of Witcher fame is something the vast majority of gamers is looking forward to. It’s the type of game you’ll probably want available the day of its release, so why not pre-order? We finally have information on just how you can pre-order the game and what you can get by doing so.

Where to Get Best Deal on Pre-Order of Cyberpunk 2077

Naturally the usual cadre of retailers will be selling the game; GameStop, Best Buy, and Amazon are all in on it. There are two different version of Cyberpunk 2077 that you can pre-order, that being the standard and the Collector’s Edition. All of the above retailers are selling them, but the Collector’s Edition has gone out of stock for many of them, within just a few days of being available. That said they’ll probably be restocked, but you’ll want to be ready to grab them as soon as they are available once again. You should also note that there are some differences between the UK and the US as to what editions get what extras, and even the price of the standard edition can vary wildly, so you should probably do some research before committing to any purchase.

Even though the Collector’s Edition is out of stock right now for many retailers, it’s pretty likely they’ll be restocked soon. So how much is it, and what do you get? Unfortunately, the price tag is a whopping $250, but the content is well and truly extensive. With this purchase you get the Collector’s Edition box, the physical case with the game discs and the co-steel book, a 10″ / 25cm statue of V, a set of metal pins, the hardcover art book, a Quadra V-tech metal keychain, an annotated copy of A Visitor’s Guide to Night City sealed in an NCPD Evidence Bag, a few embroidered patches, a World Compendium that goes into detail regarding the game’s setting and lore, postcards from Night City, a sticker bomb set and a map of Night City.

And that’s just the physical extras. For digital content, you also get the game’s art booklet and soundtrack, a Cyberpunk 2020 sourcebook and some amazing wallpapers you can use on your mobile device or your desktop.

On the other hand, the standard edition still includes a great array of extras, and for a far more reasonable $50-$60. You’ll still get the physical case and game discs, a World Compendium detailing the game’s setting and lore, those same postcards from Night City, a map of that city, and some nifty stickers. You even get all of the same digital rewards as the Collector’s Edition. Naturally, the standard edition has a much better stock situation than the Collector’s Edition, so you could probably hold back on ordering if you wanted or needed to.
