Are you in the market for upgrading the graphics card on your PC? Graphics cards can be pretty expensive and new ones come out pretty regularly, but a certain deal at Best Buy may be your best option if you need a modern upgrade or just want to add a little bit for visual acuity to your computer. You’ll save yourself quite a bit of money and even get some free games out of it, so this deal is quite likely to be a best buy for you.

Currently, the RTX 2080 and RTX 2070 Founders Editions are on sale at $120 off, bringing the 2080 down to a price of $680, and the 2070 down to an affordable $480. These sales are part of a Nvidia game bundle promotion, so when you take advantage of either of these great discounts, you also get a copy of the video games Control and Wolfenstein: Young Blood.

The inclusion of Control in this bundle is for obvious reasons: Nvidia has been using it as a means of showing off their ray-tracing technology. That said, we all know that the more complex operations you have going on, the less performance you are going to get, but if you turn off that ray-tracing, top notch graphic performance will definitely be yours. After all, the specs for both of these graphics cards are outstanding.

The Founders Edition of the RTX 2070 includes a base clock speed of 1410 MHz, and a boost clock speed of 1710 MHz. Its memory configuration is 8GB GDDR6, and its memory speed is 14 Gbps. With a memory interface of 256-bit, a memory bandwidth of 448 GB/s, 2304 CUDA Cores and RTX-OPS 45T, this graphics card is not at all bad for a nice price tag of $480. But, the specs don’t lie: the RTX 2080 Founders Edition is clearly better.

The 2080 version has a base clock speed of 1515 MHz, and a boost clock speed of 1800 MHz. It also has 2944 CUDA cores, and 60T RTX-OPS. However, its memory configuration, memory speed, memory interface, and memory bandwidth are identical. That being said, it’s obvious that the RTX 2080 is the better graphics card, but it’s kind of up to personal opinion as to whether or not it is worth an extra $200. Ultimately though, either one of these graphics cars is an excellent choice, they both happen to be on sale, and you get two free games to go with it. So whatever you choose, you’re getting a great Best Buy deal.
