As you can probably surmise, Asus isn’t the best choice for PC gaming, but it’s an affordable option, being about $650 cheaper than the next gaming laptop on sale at Best Buy. While you certainly won’t be doing anything 4K with this laptop, it’s still quite capable for anything at 1080p. It has a GTX 1660 Ti, an AMD Ryzen 7, 16 GB of RAM, and a 512 GB SSD. All of that isn’t bad for just a bit over $1,000.
HP Omen Desktop – i7-8700 + RTX 2080
If you’re looking for an all-out gaming PC with more gumption than a laptop, this HP desktop is discounted too, being $450 off. Down from its usual price of $2,000, you can get it for $1,550. Still a hefty investment, but it does get you an i7-8700, RTX 2080, 16 GB of RAM, and a 2 TB HDD + 256 GB SSD storage combination. This desktop certainly isn’t AlienWare or anything, but you can definitely run most modern games on their higher settings with it. Plus, it looks super cool which is a great added bonus.
