As humans, we want to feel secure in our everyday lives. While we cannot always control what goes on around us, we can put ourselves in positions that lend themselves to safety, especially in our own homes.  In the 21st Century, technology intersects with everything we do, especially in establishing safety and maintaining our wellbeing. Cell phones have trackers, animal collars have GPS, and doorbells have cameras. In today’s world, we do not have to answer the door without knowing who is behind it. Forget peepholes or looking out the window, you don’t even need to be at home to know who’s entering your humble abode.
