For Amazon’s latest video game promotion, they’ve settled on a BOGO deal; the always welcome buy one get one setup. Unfortunately it’s not buy one get one free, but rather get one half off. Still, this is a pretty sweet deal, as a select number of titles from both Xbox One and PlayStation 4 are available. The number of titles to choose from is varied, ranging all the way from nostalgic classics to the most recent big hits of 2019. There are even some pre-order only games you can take advantage of with this deal.

Some of the notable games include Resident Evil 2, Mortal Kombat 11, The Last of Us Remastered, and God of War. There’s also No Man’s Sky, which is getting a huge update later this week and is available at $26, or $13 if you make it your half off choice.
As said before, there’s a number of pre-order games available in this selection as well, though most of them are deluxe or platinum editions. This includes deluxe editions of both WWE 2K20 and Madden NFL 20, and the premium “Hearts Desire” edition of Catherine: Full Body. You’ll also find the regular editions of the upcoming Elden Ring, an action RPG created by FromSoftware and co-written by George R.R. Martin, as well as the remaster of Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz.
While this all sounds well and good, of course there are some catches to consider. While some games may be available on both Xbox One and PlayStation 4, they may only be eligible for the promotion on one platform. You’ll want to look for the ‘extra savings’ label under the price before you add the game to your cart. And of course, you won’t be able to buy a $26 game and get a $70 half off. Like most deals of this nature, the discount is forcibly applied to the cheapest item. This means the deluxe edition of whatever you buy probably won’t be discounted, unless you buy two deluxe edition games in the first place.
While the landing page for this particular deal did say that time was limited, it didn’t actually give any details as to when the offer was going to end. It only specified that it was good while supplies last. Naturally no one can tell how long that will theoretically be, but most people jump on a good deal when they see it, so you’d certainly be better off acting sooner rather than later if you want to take advantage of this great offer from Amazon. You wouldn’t want to miss this chance to add two new games to your library at a great discount.
