Everyone remembers the scenario with the Nintendo Switch, in which it was nearly impossible to find the console at a fair price. Scalpers were at large, stock was coming in pretty slowly, and people were buying the things as fast as they appear on shelves. Thankfully the situation isn’t quite as bad anymore, though things aren’t perfect.

That being said, if you still haven’t gotten your hands on a Nintendo Switch or you just want another one for whatever reason, there’s a new limited-edition Mario-themed Red and Blue Nintendo Switch that just came out for you to consider.

This new exclusive Switch has been released to commemorate the debut of Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury. This limited-edition Switch bundle is a pretty good way to get your hands on a Switch if you’re still looking for one. This special Switch bundle can be purchased at most of your usual major retailers already, though it is already sold out at some locations. As of our most recent check, Best Buy in particular has stock right now. It’s worth noting that this $300 Switch bundle does not actually include the new game that it is commemorating, but it does include the Mario-themed Switch console, as well as a screen protector and a carrying case. Considering that a Switch normally costs about $300 regardless of your retailer of choice, you essentially get those two accessories at no extra charge. If you’re interested in buying one of these limited-edition Switches, you can check potential availability down below.

Where to buy the Mario Red & Blue Nintendo Switch

It should come as no surprise to anyone considering that normal Switch consoles sell out pretty quickly, but this special Switch is selling out absurdly quickly itself. It sold out at the Nintendo Store in no time at all on Thursday afternoon, and it sold out at Target and GameStop as well. You can still buy this Switch on Amazon, but above its usual retail price. The last time we checked, this special edition Switch was still available at Best Buy, though that could of course no longer be the case.

It’s worth noting that this Mario special edition Switch is the first model to be any color other than the gray people are used to seeing, with the actual console being red and blue. For some reason, while Joy-Cons and docks have often been different colors, the actual Nintendo Switch has always been gray. There have been some special edition Switches with unique patterns on the back, but that’s a different matter. The special edition Mario Switch we’re talking about here is bright red, along with the dock that’s included with it. The Joy-Cons for this Switch are the same red color, though the grips are blue, symbolizing Mario’s iconic suspenders. The bundle for this Switch also comes with a Super Mario-themed carrying case and even a screen protector. As stated previously, it doesn’t actually come with a copy of Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury. The game has to be purchased separately.
